IAPH Women’s Forum is now collecting the data on women in the port authorities/Port operators .   We would appreciate it if you could fill in the form and return us by March 15, 2019.  The data will be used for our analysis on Women’s employment in the industry and will be used kept in IAPH WF database. Registration for 2019 World Ports Conference opens

According to the Host of 2019 Conference, Guangzhou Port Authority, registration for the 2019 World Ports Conference has now opened. The organizing committee is dedicated to present an unrivalled platform for the world’s port professionals to discuss, develop and plan network strategies on a global scale. The 2019 World Ports Conference will be held from Tuesday 7 to Thursday 9 May at the Guangzhou Baiyun International Convention Centre, with pre- and post-event tours on Monday 6 May and Friday

Environmental Ship Index (ESI) still going strong

According to Manfred Lebmeier, ESI Bureau Director, 7,227 ships are registered and 56 incentive providers, as of January 1, 2019. Both registered ships and incentive providers increased from 7,049 to 7,227 (+178) and from 53 to 56 (+3) respectively compared to October 1, 2018. IAPH regional meeting held in Kobe

Hosted by the Port of Kobe, the IAPH Asia, South/West, East and Middle East Region met in Kobe, Japan for its second regional meeting this year since it met in Baku, Azerbaijan in May.
