IAPH is seeking&nbsp;six emerging or newly appointed technology leaders from IAPH member ports who will benefit from mentorship, alongside six well-established or experienced CIOs, CISOs or CDOs who will act as mentors for the scheme. The programme, which kicks off in September, will be&nbsp;<a href="https://vimeo.com/1206779309" target="_blank" rel="noopener">implemented and managed</a>&nbsp;by Nicola Good, director of 8th Street Communications, and will involve a combination of in-person events, online sessions and one-to-one engagement. The creation of the mentoring programme is part of IAPH president Jens Meier’s determination to drive digitalisation, sustainability, resilience and skills development within the association. The IAPH Ports Technology Mentorship programme is open to all eligible professionals from IAPH member ports. 					<description><![CDATA[<p>With this year’s project submissions for the&#160;IAPH Sustainability Awards, the World Port Sustainability Program (WPSP)&#160;database&#160;is nearing a total 600 projects from more than 200 ports around the world. The quality of this year’s entries is very high, both in terms of presentation and innovative, original content and IAPH again&#160;extends its thanks&#160;to those members submitting projects for creating a strong level of competition in all six awards categories. This week, the expert jury (about whom you can discover more information&#160;here) began its assessment of all candidate projects, a challenging task that involves identifying the top three entries&#160;per category; these will be announced by the end of August.
