On the initiative of Vice-President for Europe Jens Meier, IAPH andHamburg Port Authorityorganised an online regional meeting last week for European members. IAPH to take ESI to the next level with support of Green Award Foundation

IAPH has signed an agreement with the Rotterdam-based Green Award Foundation to administer and expand the formula-based Environmental Ship Index (ESI), which allows port authorities and maritime administrations to reward vessels for improved energy efficiency and reduced emissions.
