IMO and IAPH publish Port Emissions Toolkit

GloMEEP-logo

The GloMEEP project is a cooperative UN initiative to assist developing countries in the uptake and implementation of energy efficiency measures for shipping, with the aim of reducing GHG emissions and preventing air pollution from ships. IMO and IAPH are partners in the project. Next to a series of workshops held in ports around the world, IMO and IAPH have collaborated on a port emissions toolkit, which consists of a guide on assessment of port emissions and a guide on the development of port emission reduction strategies. The toolkit has now been published. A similar toolkit has been developed for ship emissions.

Both toolkits can be downloaded from the GloMEEP website.
