Tomakomai Port will newly participate in the IAPH ESI program!

IAPH Regular member, Tomakomai Port will newly participate in the ESI (Environmental Ship Index) program as Incentive Provider from 1st April 2021. 15% of the port entry fee will be exempted for vessels with their ESI score of 30 or higher. Since 1 January, ESI isadministeredby the Green Award Foundation, on behalf of IAPH. More information about ESI is available from below link. https://www.environmentalshipindex.org/

Following the Board of Directors approval of the terms, the Port of Ashdod has entered an agreement to purchase 5 new advanced STS cranes for a total cost of ILS 240M. The ZPMC cranes will be used in the semi-automated container terminal on Pier 21 East, which is currently being retrofitted to accommodate 24,000 TEU mega-ships by deepening the channel and reinforcing the pier.
