The Environmental Ship Index (ESI) scores were published yesterday. Compared to the latest report (1 July), the total number of vessels in the ESI database continued to grow with 184 units, totalling at 7.916. The average ESI score is 31,82. More than 40 ports worldwide have already responded to the IAPH-PIANC survey on extreme weather events. This is encouraging, but we’d like to invite more ports to share information on the consequences and costs of extreme meteorological and/or oceanographic events.
