Two of IAPH’s partner organisations, which are also partners in the World Ports Sustainability Program, held their conferences earlier this month. The 20-20 Cargo Vision conference of ICHCA International took place in Malta from 12 to 14 November. IAPH Managing Director Patrick Verhoeven participated in a panel discussion on the future port workforce in an automated era and gave a presentation on the sustainability agenda for ports, highlighting several areas where ICHCA and IAPH cooperate. Patrick also joined the AAPA Latin American Congress of Ports in Miami last week, where he moderated a panel discussion on the impact of the fourth revolution in logistics.
