We are pleased to announce that the Port Authority of Vigo in Spain has joined IAPH as a regular member. The port of Vigo is highly specialised in the movement of general cargo, with more than 70% of it being containerised. It also has terminals specialised in ro-ro traffic, ranking among the main Spanish ports in traffic of new vehicles. The port of Vigo furthermore is one of the world’s major fishing ports, both in terms of quantity and quality. As a cruise port, it handles an average of 160,000 passengers and about 75 annual calls.
