Since its establishment in July 2007, Ulsan Port Authority has been making ceaseless efforts to develop Ulsan Port as a competitive hub for shipping and logistics and contribute to the development of national economy. As a result of faithful operation as Korea’s largest industrial port since its opening in 1963, Ulsan Port has grown to have an annual cargo handling capacity of 200 million tons. In particular, it has established itself as the leading port for liquid bulk cargo in Korea. Furthermore, while building the Ulsan New Port Hinterland and implementing the Northeast Oil Hub project, Ulsan Port is preparing to take a second leap as a leading port in the 4th Industrial Revolution including the implementation of big data tools and technologies for improving port operations.
