Earlier this year, on 24 April, the bi-annual meeting of the World Customs Organization’s (WCO) Permanent Technical Committee (PTC) took place. #IAPH2024 Sustainability Awards winners announced

IAPH was delighted to reveal the winners of the #IAPH2024 Sustainability Awards during the gala dinner of the IAPH World Ports Conference in Hamburg on 9 October. 71 projects were submitted from over 50 ports, before five ports were selected –by both an expert jury and more than 4,500 members of the voting public – as category winners. Digital PRL-MF tool launched at #IAPH2024

#IAPH2024 saw the launch of the first digital version of the Port Readiness Level for Marine Fuels (PRL-MF) self-assessment tool. The IAPH Clean Marine Fuels working group finalised its industry-standard bunker operations audit toolkit for current and future fuels, which was launched at #IAPH2024. The working group created this standard, fuel-agnostic audit toolkit for worldwide use after consulting key industry players.
