Victor and Nick appointed to new roles in IAPH

IAPH is pleased to announce a change to roles within its Europe-based team. Victor Shieh becomes membership outreach and networks director and will focus on ensuring existing ports and organisations get the most out of their membership, while further growing the association’s regular and associate membership. He will support the efforts of IAPH regional representatives Ennarasu Karunesan (South Asia) and Guimara Tuñón Guerra (Central and South America) as well as the IAPH council member representing associate members, Captain Allan Gray. In addition, with recent MOUs signed with several organisations, Victor will focus on developing IAPH’s growing network of partners, as well as maintaining relations with the global maritime media. Nick Blackmore is appointed content strategy and events director. Nick will oversee content management of publications and online tools in development. He will work closely with our media partner on the World Ports Conference agenda, webinars, and marketing. Nick will also supervise the editorial board of IAPH’s membership magazine Ports & Harbors, and will continue to oversee the IAPH Insider member newsletter, as well as press releases and social media communications.
