IAPH technical director Antonis Michail was invited to speak at the annual conference of the Port of Kristiansand in cooperation with the Norwegian Ports Association, on 25 August. Antonis attended the event in person and presented on the main challenges for world ports nowadays and the respective IAPH work and initiatives. On 31 August, Antonis joined the Ports Australia biennial conference online to deliver the opening keynote presentation, on the emerging global landscape after the pandemic and the role of world ports within. Antonis highlighted key considerations in the fields of port resilience, digital transformation and energy transition. The chairman of the IAPH Data Collaboration Committee, Pascal Ollivier, presented the IAPH priorities for this year at the virtual annual general meeting of the Port Management Association of the Caribbean, which was held 14-15 September.
