Singapore TC Days – new sessions added

The agenda for the Technical Committee Days, held 22-24 April in Singapore, has been comprehensively updated – with new sessions added, as well as with session descriptions, chairs and speakers. The two new sessions include one co-hosted by IAPH and the World Economic Forum (WEF) on Thursday 23 April – ‘Nature- and people-positive ports’ – that will address a WEF initiative to accelerate critical transformation of ports, by developing and implementing nature and people positive port strategies. The session will focus on overcoming barriers and scaling innovative financial mechanisms to drive the ‘blue economy.’ On Friday 24 April, a new session on ‘Port defense and resilience’ will allow members to share expertise and experiences to help protect ports and shipping at the forefront of regional conflicts, particularly in the event of hostile attacks on port infrastructure; this session will feature input from the UK Department for Transport. Free to all IAPH members, the Technical Committee Days will be held at the Suntec Convention and Exhibition Centre, 22-24 April. Members can complete their registration for the IAPH TC Days via this link, see the full agenda and plan their schedule. If you are interested in participating, please contact IAPH director, technical committees Masaoki Shirai.
