January IAPH Harbor Cafés now open all hours

Two insightful online Harbor Cafés were held in late January exclusively for IAPH members, and both sessions are now available to access on demand. The first session (held 27 January) focused on the Europe and the Americas regions, while the second session (held 28 January) focused on Africa, Asia and Oceania. During both events, IAPH members listened to IAPH’s re-elected president Jens Meier, CEO of Hamburg Port Authority, outline his manifesto and four key themes for his next two-year term. Regional vice presidents from the IAPH board then explained the priorities for their regions through 2027, before the floor was opened for comments from other regular members on their priorities. The dialogue that took place offered high-level strategic insights into the priorities of leading ports as 2026 gets underway; cybersecurity, crisis resistance, prudent infrastructure investment and international port collaboration were all highlighted as major areas of focus. IAPH will announce further Harbor Cafés for members throughout the year.
