Lavrio Port Authority S.A. is a Greek company established in 2001, which converted port funds into public limited companies. It is responsible for the administration, development, and operation of the Lavrio Port Zone.
Lavrio Port is considered a port of national and international significance, due to its proximity to Athens International Airport and the Cyclades Islands in the Aegean Sea. It plays a key role in decongesting Piraeus, supporting short-sea shipping, and connecting with the Trans-European Transport Network.
