Last call for #IAPH2025 Sustainability Awards entries

Entries for the 2025 IAPH Sustainability Awards competition are due next week. IAPH member ports and associate members who have worked with member ports are encouraged to contribute to submit their projects by the 9 May deadline. You can consult the terms of reference to see how your project will be judged by category. If you use existing projects as a model, you are on the right path. The dedicated online form is easy to fill in. To increase the chances of reaching the finalist stage, entries need a concise project description, documents or hyperlinks addressing the evaluation criteria, high-quality pictures and illustrations in landscape format, and ideally, an eye-catching video showcasing the project. Candidate projects will be evaluated by our independent expert jury to define the top three finalists for each of the six awards categories, which shall be announced by the end of July. In August, the public will get the chance to choose their favourites on the WPSP website, which can decide the winners if finalist scores are close. The award ceremony will take place during the gala dinner of the World Ports Conference in Kobe, Japan, on 8 October. Please contact IAPH technical and WPSP director Antonis Michail if you are planning to submit projects.
