The IMO is conducting a global survey to assess the implementation and use of Maritime Single Window (MSW) systems worldwide. The survey seeks input from all stakeholders involved in the exchange of information through MSW systems, including public authorities, port community system operators, shipping companies, agents and other maritime users. The findings will help IMO better understand current implementation levels, identify challenges and good practices, and determine where additional support may be required. The IMO is keen to ensure that the survey results are truly meaningful, representative and reflective of the diversity of stakeholders and experiences worldwide. IAPH members who are users of MSW systems are therefore encouraged to participate and share their experiences. The survey remains open until 31 October 2026 and is available through the link.
