Underwater Radiated Noise webinar available on demand

May’s #IAPH2026 webinar, focused on underwater radiated noise (URN) is now available on demand! ‘Turning the volume down: the benefits of underwater noise reduction’ featured an expert panel comprising Cheryl Ng, ECHO program specialist – collaborative initiatives at the Vancouver Fraser Port Authority, Rachel Aronson, program director for Quiet Sound, Eduardo Ramos, senior data analyst at OceanScore and Benjamin Puehse, senior manager – operations at Hapag Lloyd. Guided by IAPH technical director Antonis Michail, the group engaged in a lively discussion of the topic, covering strategies and technologies for mitigating URN and exploring the recently launched URN module within IAPH’s Environmental Ship Index (ESI).
