Port climate resilience presents a major risk to physical supply chains – of growing concern to port professionals, BCOs and insurers alike. Yet it is an under-addressed and complex topic, with a lack of relevant strategic advice for port operators and very few replicable initiatives. Led by IAPH’s Chloe Rowland, the session will explore which decision-making processes and technologies can effectively mitigate hazards resulting from climate change, with expert input from Katharine Palmer (Climate Champions team) and Ekaitz López Amurrio (Bilbao Port).
