On 6 October, the day before the official opening of #IAPH2025, more than 70 IAPH members gathered in person at the Hotel Okura for in-person Technical Committee meetings covering port operations and finance, climate and energy, data collaboration and risk and resilience (combined and separate sessions), with a cruise committee workshop taking place in parallel. With many of the sessions including remote interventions by speakers, the discussions taking place in the ‘engine room’ of IAPH will power the work programme of the association for the coming 12-18 months. The next in-person Technical Committees will take place in Asia during Singapore Maritime Week – because next year’s conference will be held in London, the usual location for these meetings. IAPH invites members to mark dates in their calendars: 22-24 April at the Suntec Singapore Convention and Exhibition Centre.
