Submit your entries for the 2025 IAPH Awards

The 9 May deadline for submitting projects for the 2025 IAPH Sustainability Awards competition is approaching. Member ports are encouraged to contribute to this year’s competition, which coincides with IAPH’s 70th anniversary. You can consult the terms of reference, get inspiration from the existing projects, and submit your contributions using the dedicated online form. To increase the chances of a positive evaluation, entries must contain a clear and concise project description, explanatory supporting documentation addressing the evaluation criteria, high-quality pictures and illustrations in landscape format, and ideally, an eye-catching video showcasing the project. Candidate projects will be evaluated by the jury to define the top three finalists for each of the six awards categories. The 18 finalists will be announced by the end of July. In August, a public vote will be launched on the WPSP website, the outcomes of which will co-determine the final winners. The award ceremony will take place during the gala dinner of the World Ports Conference in Kobe, Japan, on 8 October. Members are kindly requested to submit projects as soon as possible, and to inform IAPH technical and WPSP director Antonis Michail whether they are planning to submit projects, and under which category.
