Responses needed for online membership portal and survey

During the past six months, IAPH digitised its directory of 190 port members on the secure area of the association website. To ensure this database remains both useful and accurate for all members, we will now ask ports to check and update this information once per year, via a survey during the month of February. Our members’ confidential responses to these questions – around sustainability, strategic decisions and global outlook – will be used to produce an IAPH World Ports Sustainability Report and Outlook for 2025. Please note that only global and regional data may be reported, and survey responses will remain strictly confidential. As a result of participation, your port will receive exclusive insights on the major global trends in port sustainability and market trends in a top-quality report written by maritime economists Theo Notteboom and Thanos Pallis. The top-line results of the annual survey will be presented at the IAPH Technical Committee Days in London, 26-28 March. The deadline for submission is Friday 28 February. Responses will be retained after this point and you will only be asked to review and update your port’s answers once per year, within the same timeframe. Your main IAPH member contact may be in touch to support access and completion of the survey. If you are your organisation’s main IAPH member contact, and you are having trouble accessing or navigating the survey, please contact IAPH publications and database manager Fumiko Yamaji (JST) or IAPH coordination and support manager Fabienne Van Loo (CET) for assistance.
