Escola Europea – Intermodal Transport is a leading European training center that serves as a leading authority in intermodal transport and logistics. It is dedicated to advancing sustainable logistics practices in Europe by offering innovative educational programs.
It was founded in 2006 by the ports of Barcelona, Rome, and Genoa, along with shipping lines, Grimaldi Lines and GNV. Then, its name was Escola Europea de Short Sea Shipping, and it became Escola Europea – Intermodal Transport in 2017.
Its primary objective is to champion intermodal transport as the cornerstone of European sustainable logistics.
