#IAPH2024 attracted the principal global trade press of the maritime and ports sector, with well over thirty publications represented from several countries, as well as local television channels such as NDR/ARD and SAT1 and national publications such as Die Zeit and Süddeutsche Zeitung. Considerable coverage was given to the keynote interventions of Soren Toft, CEO of MSC, and Arsenio Dominguez, secretary-general of the IMO, with articles written by journalists in attendance from Lloyds List, Riviera Media, Journal of Commerce ,The Loadstar and Shipping Watch. Many of the major IAPH announcements detailed in this newsletter were also covered by Port Technology International, International Transport Journal and Port Strategy, all of which had senior editorial attendance at the conference. IAPH also partnered with DVV Media Group, owners of the German national maritime and logistics publication Deutsche Verkehrszeitung (DVZ), which produced a daily newspaper in English for the conference and also set up their well-known ‘red sofa’ in the exhibition area, interviewing principal speakers from the conference, including IMO secretary general Arsenio Dominguez (pictured with DVZ’s Lennart Albrecht).
