Calling cruise port members: join the ESI at-berth module

Following extensive first phase development work on the software application, the IAPH Environmental Ship Index pilot at-berth module is now ready and available for testing by both cruise lines and ports. The module has been created for the evaluation of the emissions performance of a given port call. The first cruise line Royal Caribbean Cruise has joined as well as the ports of Amsterdam, Antwerp-Bruges (Zeebrugge) and Hamburg. This initial version of the module, which is aimed at testing air quality and greenhouse gas (GHG) indicators, will collate operational data received from the ships during and after their vessel call. If you are interested in joining the pilot which will be conducted during 2024, please contact  IAPH technical director Antonis Michail at [email protected].
