We are pleased to announce that the Port Network Authority of the Ionian Sea, the governing body of the Port of Taranto, has joined the IAPH as a regular member.
The Port of Taranto locates strategically in the heart of the Mediterranean Sea, with only 172 nautical miles from the main shipping route between Gibraltar and the Suez Canal.
The Authority identifies itself as the key player in the revival of the port and logistics system of the Ionian province by introducing a series of actions aimed at innovation, digitalization, sustainability, and the coordination of interventions to improve economic development related to the shipping sector.
