Yokohama Port Corporation (YPC) is an owner and administrator of the public terminals, i.e., liner terminals, multi-purpose terminals and conventional cargo terminals. At the same time, YPC is an owner of some part of container terminals, which are leased out to the terminal operators. YPC has contributed to prosperous container terminal businesses in Port of Yokohama, working closely with City government of Yokohama, YKIP and MLIT.
