Prefectural government of Shizuoka is a port management body which is responsible for 1) formulation of port development/management plan, 2) construction and maintenance of port facilities, 3) permission for and restrictions on facility use in port management districts, 4) leasing and management of port facilities, 5) setting and collecting fees for use of port facilities, etc. for Port of Shimizu, Port of Omaezaki, Port of Tagonoura, Port of Atami, Port of Ito, Port of Shimoda, Port of Teishi, Port of Matsuzaki, Port of Ugusu, Port of Toi, Port of Numazu, Port of Haibara, Port of Sagara, and Port of Hamana.
