Chennai port is one of India’s major ports and a hub port on the east coast of India. The port handles containerized cargo, vehicles, project cargo, liquid and dry bulk cargo, and break bulk cargo.
Chennai Port Authority is engaged in the overall administration and management of the port, and its name was changed from Chennai Port Trust in 2022.
