The port of Vigo is highly specialized in the movement of general cargo, of which containerized cargo is more than 70%. It also has terminals specializing in RO-RO traffic, ranking among the main Spanish ports in traffic of new vehicles. Furthermore, the port of Vigo is one of the world’s major fishing ports, both in terms of quantity and quality. In addition, as a cruise port, it handles an average of 160,000 passengers and about 75 annual calls.
