Last month, IAPH regional director for South Asia Ennarasu Karunesan visited MBA students at Hallmark Business School in Trichy, India. Ennarasu met with the potential future leaders of the industry to discuss global trade, maritime transport, global mega ports and logistics systems, and to promote IAPH’s vision of a smartly networked and resilient port world – guided by IAPH president Jens Meier’s motto, ‘Resilient by Design, Innovative by Nature.’ The visit marked Ennarasu’s return to the campus some 18 years after his previous visit, during which time Hallmark has produced some 2,000 MBA graduates. The school was founded by chairman Shri R Krishnamoorthy and stewarded by CEO and managing trustee Jayaraman Jayabalan, with the support of director Dr. Aranganathan P and Ebenezer Raja.
