During Singapore Maritime Week, IAPH’s membership outreach and networks director Victor Shieh paid a visit to the New Zealand High Commission to meet with Deb Despard, deputy chief executive – regulatory operations, Maritime New Zealand. Victor presented IAPH’s credentials and a variety of matters of common interest were discussed, including knowledge sharing and collaboration on IAPH’s role at the IMO, digitalization, and health, safety and security, including the projects of the IAPH World Ports Sustainability Program. Deb then joined the IAPH evening reception at the Fullerton Bay hotel on day one of the IAPH Technical Committee days.
