#IAPH2026: conference theme revealed

An updated web site for the IAPH World Ports Conference 2026 has just been launched, and this year’s theme has been revealed: ‘Port leadership for a brave new world’. The IAPH World Ports Conference 2026 will convene senior port professionals from across the world in London – the intelligence hub of global shipping – for four days of high-level dialogue among shipowners, investment banks, cargo owners, insurers, regulators, thought leaders and providers of state-of-the-art technology. Held 3-6 November, #IAPH2026 will ask how port leaders can find a competitive advantage in a rapidly realigning world – one increasingly defined by superpower rivalry, in which historic international accords are crumbling, trade is threatened by multi-domain security risks, and critical infrastructure investments are being outpaced both by disruptive new technologies and the escalating cost of climate change. How can ambitious ports survive and thrive, adapt and innovate – bucking the trend in the face of protectionism, trade war, armed conflict and economic uncertainty – while delivering meaningful impact on performance, resilience and long-term growth? IAPH members are invited to save the date and watch this space, as registration will open soon!
