Registration is open for the IAPH 2026 Technical Committee Days, which will be held in Singapore, 22-24 April at the Suntec Convention and Exhibition Centre. Via this link, members can complete their registration, view the full agenda for the event and plan their schedule, as well as view suggested hotels. Members can expect Data Collaboration committee sessions focused on emerging technologies such as drones and digital twins, as well as Port Call Optimisation and data exchange, cybersecurity, and supply chain resilience. From a Risk and Resilience perspective, there will be a discussion on the ISPS Code, the risks of lithium-ion batteries, and a session dedicated to climate resilience, the latter in conjunction with the Climate & Energy committee. Meanwhile, Climate and Energy committee members will exchange views and information on clean marine fuels, onshore power supply, and climate emissions accounting. The Planning, Operations and Finance committee will cover the re-development of obsolete terminals and public private partnerships. Finally, the Cruise committee is due to present a first draft of its pilot sustainable cruise accreditation scheme. Networking receptions will be held on Wednesday 22 April and Thursday 23 April. In-person meetings will take place during Singapore Maritime Week (SMW) – the Suntec Convention and Exhibition Centre is the official venue for SMW. We encourage members to book their accommodation early, as hotel demand will be high during this period. If you are interested in participating and contributing to any of our technical committees, please contact IAPH director, technical committees and ESI liaison Masaoki Shirai.
