The hybrid mid-year IAPH Data Collaboration committee took place on 30 June at the Port of Barcelona. Several committee members attended in person with a further 40 members from South East Asia and the US West Coast intervening online. Supported by IAPH senior manager: Data Collaboration, Risk & Resilience Chloe Rowland, DCC chair Ingrid Boqué Sastre (director of institutional relations, Port of Barcelona) led a discussion that covered the work of the International Taskforce on Port Call Optimization and integrated efforts to align and benefit from multiple initiatives at the Port Call Optimisation Network meeting held at the Port of Valencia. Also on the agenda were further possibilities for ports to make the most of digital twins to enhance resilience and a review of the launch of the recently-published IAPH Cyber Resilience Guidelines for Emerging Technologies in the Maritime Supply Chain.
