In 2000, the Öresund Bridge connecting Denmark and Sweden opened. One year later, in 2001, the Ports of Copenhagen and Malmö merged to form the Copenhagen and Malmö Port (CMP). CMP is one of Scandinavia’s largest port operators and full-service port in the Öresund region. CMP receives various goods and has an infrastructure customized for all types of vessels.
