Kamarajar Port, formerly Ennore Port, is situated on the East coast of India, about 24 km north of Chennai Port in Tamil Nadu state. It is the 12th major port of India and the first port administered by a public company, Kamarajar Port Limited.
The port is designated as a landlord port; private companies carry out port operations. The port handles a wide range of cargo, including thermal coal, automobiles, project cargo, liquid bulk, etc.
