The Finnish Ports Association represents 24 commercial public port operators in Finland, with 20 owned by local authorities and four privately owned, alongside industrial and municipal port facilities. It advocates for Finnish port authorities in national and EU-level decision-making and promotes interest in cargo and passenger traffic and maritime policy. As a key organization in Finland’s maritime sector, it ensures that Finnish ports remain efficient and competitive and align with national and EU policies.
