Port Authority of ThailandLast Update:

The Port Authority of Thailand (PAT) is a government agency responsible for regulating and managing ports in Thailand. It primarily operates Laem Chabang Port and Bangkok Port. Established in 1951, PAT falls under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Transport.

Laem Chabang Port is Thailand's main deep-sea port, constructed to alleviate congestion at Bangkok Port, which is located on the eastern side of the Chao Phraya River. Today, Laem Chabang Port is the busiest port in Thailand.

In addition to port operations, PAT is involved in security, environmental protection, efficient logistics management, etc.
