Cartagena Port Authority is a public body responsible for managing the Port of Cartagena, located on southeastern Spain’s Mediterranean coast. Its historical importance is attributed to the good harbor condition offered by the natural bay and its strategic location near the east-west Mediterranean maritime route between the Suez Canal and the Strait of Gibraltar.
