Ports invited to sign Hamburg Declaration

Over a month ago, personal invitations were sent out to CEOs of IAPH regular members for the Hamburg Sustainability Conference (HSC), which will be held one day before the World Ports Conference, on 7 October. Registration for HSC is open until tomorrow, 20 September, via the link provided in the personal invitation email. The high-level conference will feature heads of state, ministers, and CEOs from the maritime and aviation sectors. Ports are kindly requested to inform Ingrid Boque at Hamburg Port Authority (HPA) if they wish to support the Hamburg Declaration, which will be signed immediately after the green shipping session in the afternoon of the 7th. Confirmed speakers for this high-level session include: Arsenio Dominguez, secretary-general of the International Maritime Organization (IMO), Jens Meier, CEO of Hamburg Port Authority and president of IAPH, Svenja Schulze, minister in the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development, Mirja Nibbe, managing director of CMA/CGM, and Søren Toft, CEO of MSC.
