Last issue of Ports & Harbors in present format

The last Ports & Harbors issue of 2020 is also the last issue in the format that you have been used to for many years. The first issue of 2021 will not only bring a totally fresh look and feel, it will also be more people-focused with more room for opinion, debate, analysis, and data-led journalism, provided by the editorial team of our partner, IHS Markit. The November-December issue is therefore somewhat of a collector’s item. The cover story features BIMCO President Şadan Kaptanoğlu in conversation with Patrick Verhoeven and Ines Nastali about how shipowners and ports can work better together on issues like decarbonisation and digitalisation. Other feature stories cover the crew change conundrum, fighting corruption and a report on how the coronavirus influences dredging works. The regional focus is on South American ports and includes an infographic on the continent’s top-10 ports as well as in-depth stories on Argentina and Brazil. You can download the magazine here.
