Initiated by IAPH Vice-President Karuppiah Subramaniam, a webinar for ports in South-East Asia and Oceania on sustainable port development will be held 29 September, in partnership with Port Klang Authority, ASEAN Ports Association Malaysia and IAPH. The event is hosted by IAPH associate member Transport Events. Following an introduction to the World Ports Sustainability Program, the programme will compare best practices on sustainable port strategies from Ports Australia and Solomon Islands Port Authority. It will then zoom in on the three strategic focus areas of IAPH: data collaboration, climate and energy and risk and resilience, featuring speakers from the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore, Johor Port Authority and MMC Port Holdings. Moderator is Anthonie Versluis, senior advisor at Roland Berger. Participation to the regional WPSP webinar is free of charge. You can register online via the Transport Events website.
