Ports & Harbors March/April 2020 issue published

The focus of the March-April issue is on offshore terminals, carbon footprint, data-sharing platforms, port cluster collaboration and ports in the European region. The cover features Despina Theodosiou, President of WISTA International who, in an interview with Patrick Verhoeven, discusses empowerment of women in ports and shipping. In ‘open forum’, SPBES CEO Brent Perry talks about the commercial opportunities battery-powered ships offer to ports and the ‘last word’ is for Jacques Vandermeiren, CEO at Port of Antwerp, who explains the port’s role in pushing sustainability in the sector.
