Six weeks until #IAPH2020! Have you booked?

In only six weeks from now the international port community will be gathering in Antwerp for the 2020 World Ports Conference. The main conference programme opens 18 March with keynotes from Tan Chong Meng, Group CEO of PSA International, and Alexander Saverys, CEO of the CMB Group. The speakers will give perspectives of global terminal operators and shipowners on the challenges the maritime industry is facing today. The industry keynotes are followed by a global economic outlook for 2020 presented by Elisabeth Waelbroeck-Rocha, Chief International Economist at IHS Markit. The opening session concludes with a ‘View from the Top’ debate with CEOs from leading world ports. The debate will also build on the outcomes of the Port Authorities Roundtable that is hosted by Antwerp Port Authority on 17 March. The main body of the conference programme consists of four parallel thematic streams, which will continue until the early afternoon of 18 March. The streams alternate workshops, panel discussions, keynotes and fireside chats on energy transition, data collaboration, reputation management and business innovation. The conference programme ends 18 March afternoon with a plenary roundtable discussion between senior port and shipping executives on pursuing a sustainable maritime business through collaboration and an interview with Kitack Lim, Secretary General of the IMO. Make sure you don’t miss the forum of world ports in its brand-new format and enjoy the finest hospitality from A-Typical Antwerp! Find out all details on the conference website and book your place today. Reduced rates continue to apply for IAPH members until registration closes early March.
