The railway cargo center in Aalborg is established in the East harbor.
A development plan for the East harbor has in 2003 been adopted by the Board of Directors. This means that the Port of Aalborg Ltd. can begin the development of more than 1.5 million square meters area in the East harbor, including the new quays and port land area. A total of 640,000 square meters of the above mentioned area are prepared for companies with specific environmental requirement.
