Port of Nanjing is situated in the lower reaches of the Yangtze River which runs straightly into the Huanghai Sea, and is open to navigation for 35,000-ton ships all the year, It's a multifunctional Sea-River Port for the collection and distribution of cargoes along the Yangtze River and in the Yangtze Delta, river/sea transshipment and water/land transhipment with an annual cargo throughput of over 60,000,000 tons. As the largest inland port in China, Nanjing Port is one of the national pivot and the first class open port.
