Board of Directors meet in Dunkirk, France

Attended by some 90 IAPH members from 26 countries, the IAPH Board of Directors convened in Dunkirk, France, 15-17 April 2008, for its annual meeting. On 16 April, the Board adopted two resolutions: one calling for an prompt and early ratification of the IMO conventions and the other for fighting against global warming. > Read more


President O.C. Phang speaks at PIANC-COPEDEC

IAPH President Phang delivered a keynote address before some 1,000 coastal and port engineers assembled at the 7th International Conference on Coastal & Port Engineering in Developing Countries (COPEDEC), now a part of PIANC, Dubai, UAE, 24-28 February 2008, emphasizing the role of ports as facilitators in this borderless world.
