World ports join hands to combat climate change
IAPH took an active part in the World Ports Climate Conference (WPCC) convened in Rotterdam, 9-11 July 2008, adopting at its closing session the "World Ports Climate Declaration",
a committment to reduce CO2 emissions and improve air quality.

Board of Directors meet in Dunkirk, France
Attended by some 90 IAPH members from 26 countries, the IAPH Board of Directors convened in Dunkirk, France, 15-17 April 2008, for its annual meeting.
On 16 April, the Board adopted two resolutions: one calling for an prompt and early ratification of the IMO conventions and the other
