Finale of the 50th Anniversary celebration in Africa!
To conclude the year-round celebration, some 300 people gathered in Nairobi, Kenya, at the opening ceremony of the IAPH-PAPC (Pan African Port Cooperation) Conference, December 4-8, 2005. The VIPs invited were Mr. Moody Awori, Kenya's 1st Vice President, who made keynote address, Mr. Gerrishon Ikiria, Permanent Secretary, Keny's Ministry of Transport, and Datin Paduka O.C. Phang, IAPH's 1st Vice President.
The IAPH-PAPC Conference was hosted by Kenya Ports Authority, during which IAPH's Africa/Europe Regional Meeting was held under the chairmanship of Mr. Gichiri Ndua, 2nd IAPH Vice President.
