WPCI Symposium in Los Angeles, USA
The World Ports Climate Initiative (WPCI) Symposium was organized by the IAPH Port Environment Committee, 23 - 25 November, in Los Angeles, USA.
At this inaugural meeting of the WPCI, port case study examples on climate action, carbon footprint inventory, modeling approaches and
innovation of terminal equipment were presented and reviewed. More details are coming soon!
President Phang speaks in Incheon, Korea
President O.C. Phang made presentation
"Perspectives and Cooperation of East Asia Logistics Business in 21st
Century" at the 2008 Incheon International Logistics Forum, Incheon,
Korea, which was organized, 7-9 October, to coincide with and celebrate the groundbreaking
ceremony of Incheon New Port designed to be a hub port of Yellow sea Rim
and a gateway to the metropolitan region in the nation.
